Labradford Labradford

Absolutely.. as usual, after repeated listens I've completely changed my mind =D "Labradford" has entered my short list of "desert island discs" and I consider it one of the peaks of music from the past decade in terms of emotion.. one of the most relaxing albums (being ambient) of all time, but at the same time unsettling and touching like few others... the last track, in particular, could be the ideal soundtrack for a suicide! Each track is a flow of hidden thoughts, revealing atmospheres of unexplored mysteries, thrills frozen and condensed in time... "Labradford" is the time that seems reluctant to pass, that moment of chill that prepares for the end... it is formally impossible to describe everything this album makes you feel..
"Labradford" is an immense, wonderful work, frighteningly cold and warm at the same time... an album I would recommend to anyone because this is a work of art.

It doesn't make me feel better... but it didn't seem to me from your comments that you understood it...
Frank Zappa Absolutely Free
Voto:
Frank Zappa was undoubtedly a genius: he was the first to conceive music that spoke about other music, the first to "mock" the music of his time, ultimately the first to transfer humor and silliness into music, twenty years before the Butthole Surfers. His contribution to posterity was undoubtedly immense...without Frank Zappa, parody and exaggeration in songs would be inconceivable, just as there would never have been bands like Elio e Le Storie Tese.

edited, I meant to say. Maybe "resitted" sounded better...
