for heaven's sake...I didn't question the masterpiece "underwater moonlight"...I just said that I don't like it that much. Anyway, I reiterate: excellent review.

not really prog... and not quite metal either... Queensrÿche lean more towards hard rock, the kind invented by Led Zeppelin, just to be clear. However, thinking about it, Dream Theater aren't really that metal either... but for sure the grandeur of King Crimson brought their touch to the heavy genre with this album...

I don't know the Oblivians, but I do know Scream Dracula Scream... it's a matter of taste... I find this one much better...

I don't understand... why shouldn't it be an achievement to have invented prog metal? I get that the genre might not be to everyone's taste, but the historical invention of it by Dream Theater is, I believe, a fact... before them, I don't recall hearing prog metal...

Oh, this is quite a gem, isn't it! Not outstanding, but definitely quite a gem! Almost near lagna rock, but I’d say much more ambient..ege, you who love pearls and hidden masterpieces (just like me, after all), what do you think about the doldrums? Do you like them?

errata corrige: of course, I meant to say that the eye shifts to the left!

Here... you tell me if a thrilling review like this should be on the right! I will never understand these editors and their questionable choices... I've seen much more pathetic reviews on the left... you might say "but what does it change?" Damn, but can you compare the right with the little album image... it gets way more attention! Plus, just studying basic psychology tells you that when the eye faces a page, it instinctively moves to the right... I'm saying this not because I enjoy being looked at, but because I believe the albums I review (and not just the ones I review, many other great albums are penalized too) are, in my view, unknown or nearly unknown masterpieces that I want to share... Anyway, rant over, which isn’t really a rant at all... I’ve never completely digested the album. Here and there a few good ideas, but too little to catapult it into the Olympus of my preferences.

Congratulations again to the editors who must now have something personal against me.

Well, THESE are records, gentlemen! What’s the need to comment on them? One of the most ahead-of-its-time works in the entire history of rock...it gives me such a sense of anguish...such anguish...
