Bah. The review is too long. Too many "beautiful" "very beautiful" used to describe the songs. The rating for the CD is too high. And I don't see anything strange in the fact that MTV proposed them.

Nice review! Perhaps more magazine-like than Debaser, but in any case, if only I could write about things as succinctly and full of references as this...

For trell: it's true! Stop Wispering! Despite that (or perhaps because of it) I quite like them.

Sorry Damaskinos, I knew that Wolf Parade are the favorite band of Arcade Fire. So there’s something that doesn’t add up: if they are "the favorite band," they probably have been around longer, so it seems that it’s Arcade Fire who are influenced by them. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I read a rumor, in any case, the first full-length Arcade Fire came out last year, and so did the first Wolf Parade, if I'm not mistaken, so one could at least say they have mutually influenced each other. Who knows, whatever.
Afterhours Live At Vulcanica 19.08.05

Passing through, I wanted to share my opinion: Afterhours are the best among the Italian bands I've had the chance to listen to. Obviously, this is just my opinion and according to my tastes, of course. To clear up any misunderstandings: I said THE best, not ONE OF the best. In the concerts I've seen, they've never held back (always about two and a half hours), and Manuel has been much more down-to-earth lately.

Hey diamond_darrel, that's not fair! I made the same comment in the review of "Live at the BBC" (check it out to believe it)...

There should be an eject or open/close button. I found it on my player to the left of the play button. If you press gently, the effect should be the ejection of the phonographic medium. Signed: occionovecue occionovedue

For the issue of multiple reviews, I would suggest to the editorial team to include two counters prominently displayed: one with the number of reviews (the current one) and one with the number of distinct albums reviewed. What do you think, huh? And maybe we could create a simple ranking of "most reviewed albums." It would be nice (and I think also simple). Editors, think about it!

Beautiful review. It's easy to understand everything you say, which makes it twice as beautiful. The album overwhelms me like few things that have come out in the multiverse. It’s a record from another era, as you rightly say—courteous, intimate, ethereal... all true, you are absolutely right, it shatters. I feel I slightly disagree only on the rating. Best regards and SQGHDEYFGU!
