I don't know, I need to listen to it better. I really liked Square One too, and it made me hopeful for the rest. Then, I don’t know, I got the impression that the album, while still keeping an acceptable level, has headed towards the "homework" vibe. A bit like the previous one.

The first CD, except for two tracks, bored me. I see that the situation hasn't changed. What a shame. Good review.

Beautiful review, congratulations. It's true that there's hardly anything written about the CD, but there's a megaton of material available everywhere about Marlene, so I see no need to insist on doing a "classic" summary. Moreover, you highlight the Godanità, meaning the desire to embellish the language by pulling out big words just for the pleasure of having sophisticated terms on one's lips. In the end, the songs, well played and certainly enjoyable, start to wilt for me when I hear terms like "avvoltolato" instead of "avvolto," "risa" instead of "risate," and then "guitto," "ingenerò," or the phrase you masterfully quoted (which is by far the most indicative of the latest album). In short, once again congratulations: a spectacular review for a mediocre album.

Selfish? I don't know, why? Definitely a charming guy, with that disheveled look, that particular, intense gaze, the Sicilian accent that comes through when you talk to him (and which I've always found very melodic: too bad you can't hear it when he sings).

No, I am not Roman: I am a miserable immigrant who, five years ago, arrived in the capital with my patched-up suitcase full of dreams. Well, to put it lightly, I am from Bari and Rome is currently my adopted city.

Very beautiful. Minimal, intense. It makes it clear that achieving the goal of a good CD doesn’t require special effects or roaring distortions. Amy Farina's voice then follows the logic of the work: it is simple and beautiful, clean, and doesn’t need to overdo it.

Congratulations, excellent review. It perfectly captures the atmosphere you feel while listening to the album and hearing the "alternative" guys talk about it. It’s as if your words have materialized exactly what I was thinking.

Hello, how many "beautiful" words have been rightly spent on Manuel and his companions (even if about half of them concern the tastes of men and women when it comes to records, I mean, at this point, open a dedicated forum if you haven't already)!
The album is stunning; I’m listening to it for the tenth time. The thin white line is overwhelmingly intense, THE FALSETTO IS SPOT ON (MORE THAN THE LEGENDARY FALSETTO OF MALE DI MIELE, WHICH I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER FULLY DIGESTED), not to mention the cry "sacra e sola, sporca sposa" etc. Fantastic, spine-tingling. At first, the single left me perplexed during the part where Manuel's voice soars, but by the third listen, it had already captivated me. Continuing with the adventure of listening, there are countless spine-tingling moments: "non sai che l'amore è una patologia..." "c'è solo sangue..." "tutto è tranquillo..." just to name three. It’s the Agnelli thought in its sometimes convoluted vehemence, perhaps darker than before. These are lyrics that need to settle a bit, but they reemerge in memory like poetry does. Great Manuel. Great Greg! I saw him at the concert in Rome when he shouted in Italian "A salvarmi vieni a salvarmi, salvami..." or interpreted a fiery Helter Skelter as the immense artist he is. They are great, monumental. Period.
