Two weeks ago, here in Rome, I saw the gig of The Niro, a singer-songwriter a la Jeff Buckley who is damn pleasant. Are the Maisie you mentioned really that inferior to Baustelle? Non voglio che Clara appeal to many (not for me, I find them a bit boring, but still you appreciate them). And Grazian? And Mariposa? Do Altro suck? Artistically, I think they deserve attention. And the studio Davoli? The Canadians invited them to some festival abroad, Jennifer Gentle is under a US label, Yuppie Flu are regularly exported.
