Fantastic. Seen live in Rome and they are absolutely captivating.
My favorite piece: "building a boat". It really feels like early Coral.

x biaspoint: unfortunately, I only know the Negramaro songs played on the radio. I was ignorant. I'm curious about this: why should I listen to the Negramaro? Because of the word I used? Because I said "ganze" instead of "valid"? Anyway, I repeat, no Negramaro no. Below, I list a few bands that I like.
x andrea_brindisi: and you come to tell me that this is an "italietta"? First of all, you listen to a lot of stuff, compliments (some of the groups you mention I've only heard of, others not at all). Second point: among the groups you mention are the NorthPole, who made an amazing album, one of the best in recent years (and they have unfortunately disbanded now), Offlaga, with that masterpiece of poetry that is Socialismo Tascabile, Valentina Dorme, who are really not bad at all, Amycanbe, spectacular. Yes, it's true, they're all on their first album (except for Valentina Dorme and Offlaga, who will have a new one out in a month). So I challenge you: is it "italietta" that of Cristina Donà, Afterhours, Cesare Basile, Virginiana Miller, Paolo Benvegnù, Marco Parente? Last year, the following were released: the latest from Perturbazione, the latest from A Toy's Orchestra, the latest from Settlefish, the latest from 3 Allegri Ragazzi Morti, the latest from Verdena (yes, them too, come on), the latest from Marlene Kuntz (okay, not their best, but still), the latest from Giardini di Mirò, the first from Montecristo (or maybe it came out at the end of 2006), Music 4 Loosers by Trabant, "Dell'impero delle tenebre" by Teatro degli Orrori, "La stagione del cannibale" by Amor Fou. Two weeks ago, here in Rome, I saw the gig of The Niro, a singer-songwriter a la Jeff Buckley who is damn pleasant. Are the Maisie you mentioned really that inferior to Baustelle? Non voglio che Clara appeal to many (not for me, I find them a bit boring, but still you appreciate them). And Grazian? And Mariposa? Do Altro suck? Artistically, I think they deserve attention. And the studio Davoli? The Canadians invited them to some festival abroad, Jennifer Gentle is under a US label, Yuppie Flu are regularly exported. I'm certainly forgetting a lot and I don’t know as many. In light of these names, don't you think you might have exaggerated a bit while crowning the Baustelle?

Bravi Baustelle... I don't know. I haven't listened much to this Amen. I'm sure I will, but for now it seems to me like the other Baustelle albums: medium-good. It’s probably just not my genre. And maybe I don't have the right sensitivity to understand the lyrics. I repeat, I don’t know. To the reviewer: I always like enthusiasm, but the lengthy review doesn’t hold up, no matter how well it's written. A couple of lines for the intro of a spit of seconds, come on. I agree with those who found the statement about the greatness of Baustelle compared to other Italian bands at least hasty. By the way "Italietta" to whom? Recently (last year) I’ve heard many bands (and maybe I've missed just as many). If it weren't too generic, I'd ask you to list other local bands you know.

Yeah... not a bad album... especially if it hadn't been made by the Cooper Temple Clause. That just makes it frustrating...

Thank you, Giordy, for the advice. I wanted to say: well, I had already heard this album (otherwise I would have had to write my comment with the help of, I don't know, a fortune teller). I bought it nice and original, which I wasn't able to do with the others that unfortunately I had to download (I hope to make up for it when they pass by Alpheus on January 12: I want the originals, damn it). Anyway, they are fantastic! All of them! It's downright absurd to think they don't have resonance, and I agree that it's a good thing only because I’m a selfish person who wants beautiful things just for myself and loves to be a snob.

Hey! But... I was there too! Hey! But... what about the drummer?! And the bass player?! They were two fantastic guys and you didn’t describe them to me... especially the drummer!!! In fact, the first part with Sound Engineers feat. "school of rock" Jeff Klein deserved a mention, even though I understand, you were having a blast with that girl... the flesh is weak... ehhh... Finally, damn it, they weren't the Twilight Singers feat. Greg Dulli, but Twilight Singers feat. Trellheim: he sang all the songs (practically the only one in the front row). Hi Trell, see you at the next concert!
