Hey, hi Emanuele, how are you?
I'm really glad to hear from you, and I believe Danielle and the others will also be very happy to read your words, as they have always held your opinions in high regard, considering you a great musician.
In the meantime, I've listened to your latest album with Atti, and I came to see you at Villa Celimantana this summer—really impressive, congratulations.
I would love to hear or read your thoughts on any topic that you particularly care about highlighting.
The ongoing debate has now been around for 3 years, and your insights have been, at least as far as I'm concerned, enlightening for approaching jazz in a much more honest and objective way, and enjoying it more fully.
At least now I would never dare to write any review on the subject, being aware of how mastery of the instruments that allow it requires a lifetime of passion and study.
So I look forward to hearing from you and greet you with much respect, wishing you the artistic satisfactions you deserve.

I know he hated being called Charlie, and he took pride in his non-Americanized name. Moreover, he couldn't stand German romanticism at all, and English romanticism annoyed him a bit too. He only liked Gogol's period with Battisti (just kidding, in reality, I'm much more ignorant).

Oh good, I'm glad to hear that, but calling him Charlie could have led to a knife stab...
