A beautiful movie with superb cinematography, and the two protagonists played by a young Marcello and a young Claudia, both with immense talent, succinct and focused. This is not something that can be said about the review, but I gather - from the nickname - that this is your style. Aloha.

A film I saw, digested in a flash, and that I will forget quite quickly. While I would watch Mississippi Burning a hundred more times. I agree with much of the review.

I finished watching it last night and I was pleasantly surprised. For being a series made in Europe, it manages to maintain rhythm and tension, despite the inconsistencies and the over-the-top moments. I watched it in German, because Netflix in Switzerland doesn’t provide the Italian version, but perhaps it's better that way; in German, the dubbing often works better than in Italian. Great review, it really conveys the idea that a series doesn’t have to be a masterpiece but should entertain. The comparison with BB seems bold to me. BB is a masterpiece not only for its script but also for its photography, which is at an almost unreachable level. Anyway, La casa de Papel will certainly give a boost to the actor portraying the Professor in his career, considering he comes straight from telenovelas (Segreto and several others). In Spain, this has definitely resonated among detractors. Comparing it to Italian series, I would place it a step below Gomorra (the series).
