I remember a few episodes watched back in the day, but I have a very vague recollection... Whereas I definitely remember "Il segno del comando." It's a pity that Rai Play isn't available here in Switzerland. One question, why do you write the surname D'Anza with a lowercase "a"?

She has been and remains my favorite female voice of all time, ever since I was a child when my parents played their records at home, and every time I hear Karen's voice I am still amazed by her effortless and pure perfection. Beautiful biographical review, I was moved.

I've seen several films by Abel Ferrara, and I agree that Bad Lieutenant and The Funeral are among his peaks. The one you're talking about I haven't seen, but my aversion to vampire stories prevents me from watching it. A good review is enough for me, thanks.

I really liked the review, and even though I probably won't read the book, you made it truly appealing. I am the daughter of a die-hard Merckx (The Cannibal) fan and his rival Gimondi, as well as Moser (The Sheriff... "because you know he has very big lungs, that's why he wins!"), and the much-missed Pantani (The Pirate) was "my" champion, how much I loved him! Just like Jim Morrison and the Doors... Hmm, I might just look for this book.
