I'm really getting into it too... and it's true, there's a Beatles vibe to it. You don't mention "Hey Jane," perhaps the easiest track (?) but accompanied by one of the most beautiful videos this year in my opinion > cheers!

nice review! As you know, I worship the BJM, so I'm biased... but the DW have their own reason for being.

Good job, Psycho!! He's coming to play in Lugano (it wouldn’t be the first time he plays through before heading to Montreux) but without Dan!!! (sniff) I liked the album and agree on the perfection and freshness despite it not sounding new.

Hi Psycho... for me, it’s already one of the albums of the year, already totally worn out. Now it's the turn of the new Liars, which I've already listened to on SoundCloud (here

and it's a thoughtful and heartfelt tribute to Wire. Cycles and recycles. -- I agree a thousand percent with Caz about the Lifetime Achievement Oscar, and I'd add a knighthood too!! Bye...

Frank Browne Titanic Leaving Queenstown

I went to Google to look up the story behind this photo and I discovered the beautiful tale of the Jesuit Reverend Frank Browne. Wow, he was saved purely by chance, and it’s thanks to this divine intervention that we can see the photos of part of the journey and the interiors of the Titanic filled with people... Moreover, he wanted to go all the way to New York, but the bishop who gifted him the ticket to Queenstown forced him to disembark after a series of telegram exchanges. Reverend Browne was deeply passionate about photography and had previously done travel-reportages, so going to New York for the first time meant a lot to him... In this photo, you can truly sense the melancholy of a personal opportunity that has nothing to do with the ship itself.

Cannabis???? But these guys smoke bongs as big as your thigh! Look, the effort is commendable, but certain statements like "depression is the predominant element of the song and the album" are really daring!

Diana Est is mythical! She had beautiful hair… she was a bit like the Italian answer to a certain chouette pop from back in the day! :) lovely review Geo, the term subsonicata made me laugh :)
