Wow, you write so well, compliments... for me, he’s already in that Olympus where people I adore like Four Tet or Amon Tobin reside, meaning folks born in cushy circumstances who got the right education in peace and with family support, and had dads willing to invest in mixers and magical synths instead of fancy cars when they were kids, and maybe they even live in New York... in short, you can accomplish great things with all those advantages (regardless of Coltrane). But in the end, you really need to have true passion... otherwise, it’s just a bluff. Here, there’s undoubtedly that.

Their genre? It's what sounds like people who listen to the music we like (hi Ole!) :) and these guys have shown up with tons of post-punk and noise and emo/hc in their ears. In some ways, they remind me of the early Oneida, like this > but also Future Of The Left and people like that... long live Veneto!
