Just yesterday, I watched the third episode of Last of Us, the story of the gay couple. There’s a scene where he says to him, after they’ve kissed for the first time: "go take a shower." Then you see them shirtless, the chubby one and the skinny one. Stop. This is how you convey something romantic, but at the same time a bit rough and masculine without going into details.

The first eight albums by Bennato, including this one, are national treasures, no ifs or buts. During this decade of his early career, from when I was ten until I turned twenty, I became deeply attached to him; after that, the rest of his work has captured my attention in a very sporadic way. My favorite album is I buoni e i cattivi (I don’t know why), the one I liked the least is Uffa! Uffa!, and the one I’ve listened to the least is this one in question, and perhaps now I should revisit it thanks to this passionate, interesting, flowing review.

Of the triad you mentioned, my favorite is Terms of Endearment. Rain Man makes it clear from the very first scenes where it's headed, a "predictable" film, in short. As for the amorphous cinema of the '80s, I would also throw in When Harry Met Sally and Dead Poets Society.
