I've listened to it very little to give a judgment... but it doesn't seem too bad. It's a 3.5... that could go up (who knows). Interesting tracks: aghoraphobia (and the ballad is a must!), Priceless (the guitarist has improved a lot! check out the solo), leech (adrenaline-fueled... Me gusta!:). That's all for now. Hey, but the album comes out the day after tomorrow. Nani in case you change the dates of our posts.. lol! :P

Chilling.. A powerful album. As complex as one of Pink Floyd, yet as straightforward as one of Vex Red. Sampling, power, and melancholy. A perfect second album: the ongoing musical evolution. A 1000-page book to read and explore... :) and blabla ..I’m back to my hiding. Ciau. dredg rulez

So you’re into flexible categories then. This calls for a little round dance.

I really like the review. I like Zappa, and I respect him as a musician and "artist." But I'm not crazy about his music. Over time (or with your suggestion) I might be able to "understand" it and appreciate it better :)

However, Ange... it seems that your criteria are a bit vague. Everything not included in point 1 could belong to point 2 and vice versa. Now I'm going to tease you a bit. Verdena. Do we throw them into the pot of excessively ridiculous lyrics or into the pot of not ridiculous lyrics? And De André? Then according to what you say, you should appreciate Battiato (because he surely belongs to one of the two or both categories!). At this point you might say: "Oh no... but what I like about Verdena is primarily the music!" Ah... gotcha! So I’ll add a 3) I might like it on the first listen for the music, like the foreign one.

Well, try to hurt yourself every once in a while by listening to Italian stuff. Maybe you'll discover you're a masochist and learn to appreciate it :°D Just kidding, of course. Anyway, you never know in life... maybe one day you'll find your love here in Italy (I'm always talking about music, you know!! :))))

Antonio.. I listen to a lot more foreign music. But sometimes I feel frustrated at the idea of not being able to truly understand the lyrics or a particular thought in a song. Translating sometimes feels futile, and it becomes too rational an operation of dismantling and rebuilding. Maybe that's what pushed me to search for something in Italy. The need for clarity, transparency (which is also what I talk about in the review). For something direct that hits me in its entirety even on the first listen :) I hope I've explained myself well...eheh :))) Ciauu
