The review came out a bit confusing. Alright... with your self-rating. I don't know the album... but it doesn't inspire me to buy it. Maybe it's because I have too much stuff on my list and I have to discard something? :°| I'm going back into hiding.

ehh... for me Killers has a sound very close to punk. I wouldn’t associate them with any other genres, except "punk-metal." Perhaps during their career (even though I support Bassist's claim that they haven't made significant improvements over time) they've slightly refined themselves, including instrumental parts and "armoballad" (also taking advantage of better productions). But nothing more :) In my opinion, of course...

It's the same words accessible and understandable that politicians shove down our throats, right? ghgh :) Less taxes for those buying Ziggy Stardust :°D Actually, let's increase the taxes, otherwise the people in question would benefit too much from the purchase. I won’t touch Ziggy, aicuzzo, it remains a milestone for ME too :)) Ciauuu

QUOTE IN QUOTE: ^ NO album in history can be defined as "objectively" beautiful = another load of nonsense, think of Jarrett's "Cologne Concert" or the Beatles' "SGT Peppers" or Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust": timeless masterpieces immune to subjective judgments ^. "IMMUNE TO SUBJECTIVE JUDGMENTS" isn't that a contradiction in terms? uhauhauh. Is there anything that is not immune to subjective judgments? If they are subjective, then the reactions and consequences of those judgments will also be subjective. Ziggy Stardust is what it is thanks to the subjective critical judgment it received (and of course also thanks to the intelligence of a highly inspired and clever Bowie). Talking about music in terms of faith ("timeless" and "immune" are religious terms) exposes you in my eyes as a believer in front of an Atheist. Which puts you in a good light, eh! (that of your faith I imagine gh). Unfortunately, I have a different view of life/music... Bye Aicuzzo :DD

I meant pure heavy metal... the one from the origins. It lived through that period and inspired the new metal bands of the 80s, which played more in "hard" terms than "heavy" (sonically utilizing what the end of pure heavy and the sudden rise and decline of anarco-street-punk had provided). So, from my point of view, "punk-metal" groups like Iron Maiden were born... or "hard blues" like AC/DC (the latter emerging right in the midst of the heavy metal "decline"). And when I talk about decline, I don't always mean a period of deep crisis to remember with tears in our eyes, but more like part of a healthy physiological process :D Ziauuu

I adore it. As I already told Giov, I find it massive. Navarro enriched their sound, transforming it. He didn't play the puppet script (as Frusciante would have liked from his crystal pulpit). Just a sterile comment... "never heard". As if it were implied that the album sucks, to him and to all the fans (almost the whole world). FOR ME, the reality is quite different: One Hot Minute is an excellent album, Frusciante will never admit what he doesn't admit, the Red Hot don't play tracks from One Hot because Frusciante doesn't want to play Navarro's songs (he'd never lower himself!), "never heard" is what was said when (not) talking about Frusciante's solo work (his must have been a long-repressed outburst). Frusciante is great with the guitar. I've always adored him. But shut that mouth of his, or fill it with a bit of humility (yup… two birds with one stone). I like the review anyway :) Byeee

I was planning to give you a harsh three for the excessive "dramaturgical" length at the start. However, as I kept reading, I was moved (Drake and Barret going up and bursting into a thousand colorful confetti... sigh sigh.:°°°°°) I've always wondered what this album was like: your sincere and spontaneous praises convinced me not to buy it :) Good job!
