You made me want to reconsider the album... given that between the two you gave me, Phanerotyme has almost or totally overshadowed Trust Us (of course, Vortex Surfer was love at first listen... thanks, ange :) I recommend and continue to recommend Phanerotyme between the two. Holy Wars is a masterpiece of metal.. Rust in Peace is fantastic. Everyone should own it.. or have heard it at least once: forget about Slayer and Testament. You can skip those.. they’re too “niche,” too “extreme”: in Rust in Peace there’s only pure and intense passion for music and for metal. Imho and always Imho. ciauu!

Ahi ahi ahi... to those who speak without listening. To those who speak without reading. My dear Giov.. this time you've really overstepped. Read the texts of the Consoli carefully... and realize that there are truly few people like her in Italy. There are those who quote niche bands like Giardini di Mirò... or those who praise the talents of Marlene Kuntz. Yours is a classic reaction to the "commercial." Consoli is hyper-known... and you judge her on what basis? The constant hammering of her singles on MTV? Then: Mr_Iko... "who does he think he is?" is a rhetorical question appropriate to your character. Carmen Consoli doesn't think she is... but she IS. Perhaps contrary to you... and your licks. Byz
