I'll tell you the truth plus. I really don't have the debut... I only have Eppur non basta, and Transparent and the current jungle. The latter has been well-reviewed around, but I honestly find it a bit messy and not very polished. (live, it disappointed me a bit). Testa dì cuore, on the other hand, is splendid, almost as much as Transparent (which as you will have understood is my favorite). At this point, I should get Eppur non basta, huh? :)) Bye!

:) well, it’s not a problem. But I’m glad they piqued your interest: I would suggest (to you, Hal) to buy "Unsolved" without knowing anything about it. Not this one, which still remains my favorite. Download the tracks "the-lived-but-yet-named," "the roots and the ruins," and "sever." Let me know if you like them (I’d love to hear your opinion). I was blown away the first time I saw them live, so much so that I bought all their albums. Ciauuz :D

For me, and I repeat for me, Bowie is the artist who has given the LEAST to Lou Reed. Lou Reed owes him a little... but really very little compared to many other people who have genuinely changed/helped his artistic career. Think of Schwarz, Albin, Cale, Warhol, or Bob Quine. The problem is that of these, the ones he admired most were the poet/writer (Schwarz) and the non-musician artist (Warhol). They didn’t threaten his "musical brilliance" in the slightest. Bowie (like Cale!) on the other hand, threatened him so much that Reed preferred to distance himself from him in his life (which shone brighter and brighter than his own, or at least his paranoia led him to think so). Honestly, I couldn’t say who I prefer between the two. Or rather... not in general (also because I don’t know EVERYTHING about both). Competitions, in any case, are always amusing, so it’s better not to encourage them (even though sometimes you’re tempted, driven by the desire to discuss a bit :))) ziauu

I, who don't listen to Coltrane (maybe one day I'll start :), definitely recommend Origin of Symmetry. Songs like Space Dementia and Citizen Erased are little cosmic masterpieces :°D

but lol!!! :°°°D the brutal girl!!! :°°°D I hope you don't do any messing around like waco jesus. Just the other night, while flipping through the Negative, I read "prostitute disfigurment" and out of curiosity (the name made me laugh so much) I downloaded "cadaver blowjob". What can I say.. I laughed like a madman. I've never heard a growl that low. I thought the maximum was Chris Barnes :°D

For me, the same words apply to Room of Fire by The Strokes. Hyper-mega hyped by MTV and hyper-mega overrated. And with them, billions of other bands that are sometimes even worshipped here (I like The Strokes, damn it! :). And I like the Muse. Origin of Symmetry is a great album. This one is so-so, but pleasant. The fact that I don't have "musical culture" can only confirm your review. I give you four because it's not written badly, but I TOTALLY disagree with what you said about Muse, about their past, and about this album. peace & love P.S. Iko, enough with this story! They're making fun of you and you react "a la Matteo" by spitting in their face. spit spit! :°D

Yes! :) I already like you, Hans. Brave and essential. Nice review: this is where Reed went from glitter Frankenstein to rock’n’roll animal. But they were just his inventions, the fruit of his ego: like his comparison of Berlin to Hamlet :°D How infuriating when egocentric assholes are also geniuses :PPP Anyway, good job and welcome. Ciauu
