Heron, why do you have the conviction that EVERYONE who listens to metal thinks they’re listening to elite music? It's a belief that you really can't seem to shake off. Even with me (and with other reviewers...), you have always and only talked in these terms. Whatever comment you make, you always throw it in. Here’s how Heron thinks: "Metal was the '80s, it's dead now and makes no sense... metalheads think they're listening to niche music that everyone knows by now, and it no longer says anything, while they pose, while Wyatt, who is a genius (I fully agree), many don’t know and they throw him at you for 10 euros...". I don't know what experiences you had as a kid in this area, I respect your ideas just like anyone else’s (also because I consider you a very intelligent person), but in my opinion, yours is a truly distorted view of the world. And I really don’t believe I'm the ONLY metalhead who is practically the opposite of how you describe young metalheads. You have a mental closure that is nothing short of impressive. "This is the truth; otherwise, it can't be; I know how life works and you are just kids who don’t understand a thing...". I've given up on discussing things with you; it's pointless. Let ArcanuM deal with it if he can. After all this time, I've understood your way of thinking. And the more I understand your thoughts, the less I agree with them... (even though I don't think you’ll care about what I say since to you, I'm just a naive little metalhead who knows nothing about life).

Anyway ArcanuM, a provocation from a friend: don’t you think that the idea of individualist nihilism is, in its own way, a dogma? P.S. When is your website launching? I’m so excited!! :-)

Zenith, to be honest, I suspected it!!! :-) Anyway, I want to point out that in the review I mentioned the CD in question... If you’re referring to the introduction, well, I thought it was a nice way to start the review, don’t you think? Everyone has their own style when it comes to reviewing, after all... Similarly, talking about emerging groups seemed like a nice way to wrap up the review... do you get it now? That's all!! The rest is just about the demo. Anyway, when I mentioned supporting them, I took it for granted that they didn’t suck, on the contrary... and I think it’s clear from the review what I think of them. By the way, what’s your name?? One more thing... Do you remember the website where Valerio writes reviews? I forgot...
And remember: IF THERE IS A PASSION FOR METAL, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS: IT TAKES LITTLE TO BECOME FRIENDS!!!

Pelican stoner-doom? This is really new to me... At most we can call it stoner/post-core, but it has nothing to do with doom! By the way, did they release the new album???

But look, DeFarfalla had left and had been replaced by Mendez...

More than anything, I can't stand his habit of giving a 1 to albums he has never listened to... He doesn't care, and that's something that really irritates me. I can't tolerate this kind of behavior. Sure, his fervor was out of place; still, he, like everyone else, is free to express his thoughts... the important thing is to do it with knowledge. And anyway, I apologize; I know perfectly well that the review is exaggerated, and looking back at it now, I really don't like it at all, I could have written it much better... But apart from the fact that I absolutely adore this album and therefore I COULDN'T be objective (I still think that those who say it's a terrible album don't understand a thing about music, or at least about metal music, simply because we're talking about a true classic, regardless of whether it has influenced other bands or not), this was also one of my first reviews, so I was still "inexperienced," so to speak...

Bathory, the band is called Winds Of Funeral, Funeral Wintermoon is the name of the demo!! I don't know who the two you mention are, I only know Valerio, the guitarist... I haven't seen the drummer in a while, and anyway I don't remember his real name. Who are you referring to?
