I want to emphasize that THAT Stefano (the one from the review) is not THIS Stefano (the one writing this message). Of course, when I write reviews, I sign as Stefano "abstract" Pentassuglia, but we are almost namesakes, and I wouldn't want people to confuse us. Also because when it comes to musical tastes, we are very far apart.

6 a myth, as usual...

We've really reached the peak of "choose the worst name you can think of for your band." Q And Not U... what the hell kind of name... well, great review anyway.

Simply indescribable. I've been listening to it a lot lately, and the more I listen, the more I like it... The Perfection. Mieszko, you will forever remain in our hearts!!!!

I partly agree with the reviewer. It's true that they are good, but they too (unlike equally important bands like System Of A Down or Deftones) have ended up in the big machine of the commercial industry, which corrupts everything and leaves no hope... In short, their style was fine and beautiful for the early albums (I say this because I’m open-minded; if I were a puritan metalhead, I would have spat in the face of anyone saying such a thing), but now it just feels false, and anyway it has become quite stale... And then in this genre, there are bands like Deftones that deserve much more success, yet they aren't as well-known as Korn... Anyway, it's not true that nu metal is shit; as the reviewer himself suggests, it all depends on whether it's done right, so essentially it depends on the bands, not on its musical characteristics. It's always talked about negatively just because it's seen as an attack on the values and tradition of metal.

And for your information... The guy who offended me apologized, and if you didn't notice, it's not my fault.

But luckily it is the desire to keep moving forward that brings music to life, and certainly not staticness or closed-mindedness. So I prefer to review those mediocre ones who have made an effort to express themselves in the music world in a sincere and genuine way, rather than waste time posting messages on a site posing as life coaches, as I've seen you do since I started writing on DeBaser. If people had held your ideas until now, then I can tell you clearly that the philosophy and culture you talk about so much would never have existed.

Let me get this straight: all the bands that can't reach a certain quality standard don't have the right to record anything? Someone who loves psychedelic rock and wants to form a band can't do it just because "The Dark Side Of The Moon" has already been released, and there's nothing more to say about it? Someone who loves black metal doesn't have the right to express themselves in this genre, forming a quality band and working hard to play, just because everything important that needed to be said in black metal was already said in the 90s???? Well, then there's no hope. Let me explain better: I understand those, like you, who think the market is saturated with identical records and that this kills music... I agree with you on this. But doesn't it seem to you that by putting up barriers and limiting the artistic freedom of bands and musicians, we are killing it anyway??? I think so. And I'll tell you clearly how I feel: if the music world was full of people who only review "Reign In Blood," "Master Of Puppets," and "Dark Side Of The Moon," because they are albums that had something to say, and completely snub any "Funeral Wintermoon" by Winds Of Funeral or any album of that kind that, despite being of quality, no longer says anything, well... it would be a pretty shitty world. Because if musicians had thought like this in the 70s, those same records probably would never have been recorded.
