I had already written it myself, but no hard feelings anyway; on the contrary, you deserve a nice 5 both for the review and for the choice of the album!:-)

The album doesn’t drive me crazy, but I still find it incredibly fun... The movie is spectacular... But in any case, the only opening song, Kickapoo, is worth the entire album: damn, that song is a masterpiece of rock at any time!!! Every riff seems to say "hey man, look how rock 'n' roll I am!":-D In short, they shouldn’t be taken seriously, okay, but they are awesome!

Great review, and the initial reflection on the concept of solitude is quite good... The album remains the best of Morgion, in my opinion (but it's a close call with Solinari...). Give Dolorian a listen, I think you'll like them! ;-)

Estrangement, in my opinion, lacks the mood that made them great, although the last song is an exception. The Myspace is indeed a fan page, but it can also be considered an "official" Myspace... In Microcosmos something is missing, yes, the atmospheric parts of previous albums; it’s much rawer. But for me, this is an advantage, not a flaw...

I also feel a subtle pleasure in thinking that they are "niche" groups, for a few people, just for us, as if there’s a sort of intimacy with the group. However, I still feel sorry for depriving others of this music! I believe they should still be recommended and listened to... for obvious reasons, they will never reach the masses; it’s a risk that’s impossible to take, and they will always be appreciated by a select circle who can understand them.

;-) heartfelt thanks to everyone, to respond to Karma the fact that they are becoming famous I'll say: it's about time! Let me explain, it saddened me a bit to know that a band like this had remained unknown to most people... I really admire their desire to stay in the shadows, in fact, I love that idea, but I think it's time to open an official myspace (I've seen it and I found the idea of all those images amazing). What can I say about the album... less evocative power is due to fewer atmospheres, obviously. But beware: this does not mean less emotion! On the contrary, I believe that the album, being more direct, gains more in emotionality, which is a priority for me... it's a great album, it may appeal less than previous albums or more, it's a matter of personal taste, but it is and remains a great album.

Look, you write very well, I like your style and for this reason you deserve at least a 3 and actually I’ll give you a 4 for your choice of the album, the problem is that such a review is unworthy of an album like this. If it had been another album, I might have even given you a 5. You get lost in the description, it seems like you want to soar high with your words and evoke emotion in the reader but then you fall into banality and the initial sense is lost. Blood In Our Wells is an absolute masterpiece. There’s no contest. Perhaps not convincing all the way through, fine... but the initial attack of "Furrows of Gods" and "Ukrainian Insurgent Army" are worth the entire album on their own. Indescribable.

Static rhythmic section??????? Oh Lord... WHAT KIND OF COMMENT IS THIS??????? They play atmospheric black metal, a super slow music, it’s LOGICAL that the rhythmic section is static, that's what makes it beautiful!!! But I wonder: why comment just to throw mud on Debaser and on bands of this caliber if you're just going to spout nonsense...

What?! You can't give just a 4 to a masterpiece like this! The Durdkh riffs are trivial?! Oh Lord... now I can honestly say I've heard it all.

Honestly, I find A Different Kind Of Pain to be an excellent album, definitely intense (far less predictable than it may seem)... Perhaps you need to "understand" it to appreciate it, and I believe it ultimately comes down to personal taste (since I usually can't stand similar albums, but the songs on this one really struck me; they are terribly emotional... you can feel that the singer's wife was suffering from cancer during that time...)
