Here you go, my life philosophy!;-) If you think about it, it's worth it, you have your own review, you stand out from the others and you are original! I almost never do duplicates unless in special circumstances. It was the case with "Toxicity," which I HAD to review...

But what a drag, I had already done the review... It's unfair! ;-)

No, it has nothing to do with it; "Prison Song" is a song they wrote. The Zelda theme, on the other hand, is a cover that System Of A Down did, if I'm not mistaken, for the music from the first Zelda (or the cartoon, I honestly don't know), and there's also a video online with images from Ocarina Of Time... Considering that I love both (the band and the game), I really liked this. There's also the same theme, redone by Nine Inch Nails at a concert. The latter, if you go to www.thelostwoods.net, I've included in the music section.

Thank you, dear sfascia carrozzaro (perhaps too much) of trust. As you well know, there is a de-gustibus first and foremost! In any case, the sensations I described are subjective, as they must be. An album deserves the title of "masterpiece" when it manages to evoke in a person (even just one) a torrent of violent and almost metaphysical emotions like those I experienced. And "Toxicity," precisely for this reason, is a masterpiece. Because there is AT LEAST one person who has felt all this (but there are many more, hehe). This does not mean that it can be felt by everyone, you are an example of that. A bientot

P.S. Cool, I know there were already three... isn't that enough with the reasons I mentioned at the beginning?;-) Okay, I apologize! :-D

About the new Korn, when is it coming out?

In the subsequent albums, there are some solos... But Tremonti focuses more on impact; it's natural that he sets aside the solos and prefers heavy riffs.

It's music that is NOT committed and absolutely NOT original. That's exactly the point: you have to accept it as it is. Their songs are enjoyable, and they do have a personality since they contributed to spreading the post-grunge movement (which has garnered a myriad of followers). Whether everyone likes it is another story. It's absolutely natural, in fact logical, that they have a strong influence from Pearl Jam. They start right from there: modernizing the Seattle sound. That's what post-grunge means. Why blame them for that? It seems silly to me. It's a natural process; it was their musical choice. Don't make comparisons with the sacred monsters because they lose from the start. They write beautiful songs, and that is their only claim, nothing more. Accept them for that.

The review is complete nonsense. It has nothing to do with nu metal!!! This is grunge; in fact, Creed are among the founding fathers of so-called post-grunge, less gloomy and more focused on catchiness. I haven't listened to the entire CD, but "One Last Breath" and "My Sacrifice" speak for themselves... it deserves a 4. A really good band, honest. Commercial, yes, but with class. Certainly more than many other bands: you will never find their romantic touch in groups like Puddle Of Mudd et similia.
