Well, I was the oldest in the band and I'm 19, so... If I'm not mistaken, Antonio and Getano are 18, Vito is 17, and Donatello I think is 17 too... I can't give you any information on upcoming releases because the group is just starting out in terms of recordings and live performances! :-) I've only done one concert with them, which I recorded... Anyway, I don't know if I can give you a copy of the demo, I don't know how to do it... In any case, it's always a good thing for them to get known, especially since if no one cares about underground bands from the North, just imagine those from Taranto and its province!! And they really deserve to be known... Antonio and I are already thinking about our own project...

I'm not surprised by Sfascia's comment, but honestly, I don't care at all. On Debaser we all have different ideas. I stand by my opinion that in the strictly Nordic black metal scene there are many clone bands of the masters, and Hate Forest are NOT among them, and they are greatly underrated.

Yes, but that means there are different bands that are worth it; it's not a good reason to belittle others... Just because I know them (even if I'm speaking as an outsider now), my judgment should be valid. There are only 3 tracks in the demo, but I've heard their songs, and they are all beautiful, and they have enough for at least 2 or 3 more albums... Talent in songwriting is personal; it's not an influence, you can't copy from other bands!

The genre is hard to define, as I said before it's kind of a cross between Opeth and In Flames (which already sounds pretty awesome...). I mean, it's melodic death metal, but with progressive elements, gothic parts, death pieces, in short, a ton of influences... They are an extraordinary band, trust me. I love them, otherwise I wouldn't have played with them! :-) (I've included 4 samples to give you an idea...)

(In fact, Habstract was more original; in fact, the group was initially called ABSTRACT (it's an acronym). Then I suggested adding an H because there was already a group called that, and to avoid confusion... I believe they changed the name to Arkhamian to avoid resembling too closely that group that was already called abstract, or other groups with similar names (like the abstract algebra).

Yes, of course, it wasn't the best, in fact I felt it was necessary to highlight it in the review... But in the end, it was better this way. Unfortunately, I didn't always have the time to dedicate to a band like this, which truly deserves all the possible support. I myself felt like a burden (and then I arrived later; the band was founded by Antonio, Gaetano, and Vito). Of course, I felt sorry about it, but the band comes first. I hope all of you will support them.
