Agalloch The Mantle

Indeed, it's not a masterpiece, and in the review, I also explain why. That does not deny the fact that it is a beautiful album, deserving of 5 stars. In fact, the essence of the review is precisely this: humility. Even though it’s not a masterpiece, (I quote myself): "The Mantle is an album that I experienced more than I listened to, and however naïve and exaggerated this statement may seem to you, it rightfully belongs among those albums that made me understand how important music is (for me and I believe for everyone) to face life." Whether it is a masterpiece or not is simply a matter of opinion! =)

Satyricon Nemesis Divina

I understand you, but apart from that, it's precisely in writing this review that you went wrong. I mean (I'm trying to be clear): why unleash your beliefs on "Nemesis Divina"? 1) You say you can't stand the attitude, but the one from Satyricon seems much more serious than that of billions of other (actually ridiculous) black metal bands. Why single out Satyricon among all? 2) Okay, you had high expectations and were disappointed, but that's a subjective view; why trash a masterpiece just because you don’t like it? The review was already there; you could have just left a comment saying "I don't like it" and given it a 1! A review? Besides, it seems you're not a big fan of black metal, so why not stick to your own genre, that is, brutal death? 3) The comparisons with Slipknot and sampled instruments don't seem polemical or hyperbolic; it seems like you're speaking seriously. That said, I bid you farewell and await your review of the next Cannibal Corpse, "Kill"! :-D
