Agalloch Ashes Against The Grain

Indeed, read here what I wrote: "Here we play with the muted black of the Ulver," meaning they take the feeling, the attitude, then it's logical that on a sound level we are light years apart... Thanks for the compliments anyway. I was away from the internet during the summer but now I will return to reviewing like before... The phrase about pain came to me while I was listening to the album and meditating on these things... Maybe Kerouac didn't have much to do with it but my instinct told me that I had to mention him...

Anyway (not to be picky), nothing personal, mind you, but how bold, I ask, can you rate this album a 1, and especially how bold can you say that the Cult are sellouts when YOU, yes YOU, rated the latest Blink 182 a 4 and gave a whopping 5 to Ligabue's Concerto???? Are you okay!!! Go play with your Barbies while we listen to Cult Of Luna.

Okay, I'll try to listen too, but maybe after I've reviewed Mono and Envy... yesterday I sent the review of the new Agalloch, read it and let me know what you think. By the way, here's a curiosity: why is it that when you can't review an album, you always say I can do it???
System Of A Down Hypnotize
Voto:
This is not a review, this is a prejudice. The days of the masterpiece Toxicity are obviously long gone, but Hypnotize remains a great album, enjoyable and intense, definitely better than the previous effort Mezmerize. SOAD have kept vivid an identity from which they cannot free themselves. It was difficult to repeat themselves after exceptional outings like the past ones, so realistically one couldn't expect more. Hypnotize is a nice record. It's obviously not something worth spending 20 euros on, but I spent 10 for it and I'm satisfied. One last note: SOAD are and will forever be a bone of contention, a band that will attract kilos of shit from one side and flowers from the other. I can only suggest that you look at the music, open your mind, and not let prejudice win you over. And then, as we know... DE GUSTIBUS.

Much, much better than Salvation, this one. It makes you feel, it makes you cry, here we really brush against genius. In the end, I even bought it, even in digipak, and that says it all.

Great album by Callisto. Noir is definitely their best album... If True Nature Unfold was rich in catchy melodies, direct and easy to grasp, Noir is much more intimate, more ambient, more delicate... without a doubt, a step forward. Great record, guaranteed mental journey, delicate and intense, maybe a bit meandering but absolutely worth a listen. I wanted to review it myself but I must say that open mind has already done a great job... I guess I’ll review the new Cult Of Luna album that I just bought original this morning... wow, have you already reviewed that too??? Open, you’re stealing all the Post-Hardcore reviews out there! :-) So if you allow me, I’ll review the Mono... Listen to them, Open. "You Are There" by Mono. A Japanese band that will drive you crazy, I’d bet my money on it. And also check out Envy (also Japanese and still post-hc).

Great the Yakuza, among the most original groups around, I listened to their debut "Way of the Dead" and really liked it, I’ll try to get my hands on the new work as well... great review.

Yes, there are Christians who MAKE black metal, which is often referred to as UNBLACK METAL by many... And there are countless bands that play it (listen to the Norwegian Antestor, where HellHammer played on one album, they're wonderful...)

Darkthrone A Blaze In The Northern Sky Limited Edition

Yeah, who could forget him... via Tuscolana in Rome... I don’t remember his name (I think it’s Mauro) but he’s an idiot who complains about all the reviews. Just ignore this pathetic loser. Darkthrone are the best.
