I would like to point out to dear KILLGOD that if the Pink Floyd had not existed, neither would the Tool... and this is not just my opinion, but the Tool themselves... And please, praising the Ramones (anyway a great band) while throwing shade on the Pink Floyd is... I can't find a swear word, think of one yourself, whatever you like.

Dear Kid, it’s clear we have very different conceptions of what a review is, and perhaps even of the stream of consciousness. Some albums cannot be described with simple adjectives, but rather with the emotions felt while listening to them. DeBaser is an extremely free site, and anyone can write in the way they deem most appropriate. Call it whatever you want, but I couldn’t write a review different from the one I wrote for The Beyond; to me, it would have been unfair to the emotions I feel with this album. Simple, because the webmaster of white metal doesn't want to consider metalcore on his site... so the "metalcore" albums particularly close to metal (and therefore to melodic death, in this case) are classified as melodic death... that's all. But on DeBaser they review everything, so I found it more appropriate to classify them as hardcore new school (but even that definition isn't perfect...)
