Lewis...as it often happens to me with groups I adore, the album I like the most is rarely considered by popular opinion to be the best, let's say. And this is to say that in my opinion it’s their best record, but almost everyone thinks differently...

it's the only one I'm missing..... their previous random harvest is simply sensational.....

I wanted to say that in my evaluation I might be influenced by these, let's say, my temporary musical preferences (even though now that I read it again, the bands I mentioned don't really have much to do with each other)... anyway, I would be curious to know what you think of this album...

ajeje... I don't know how to put on the samples, I'm a poor ignorant... you can easily find it on soulseek... if you've never listened to what Labradford recorded after the first three works, download them all, every single one, and a new world will open up for you... especially the last two, this and fixed::context are far from the first Labradford (oh, it's still them, eh) at least that's what my modest ears suggest... I literally adore them... eh oh, it's a time when I'm re-listening to this stuff... I don't know, the Labradford, the experimental audio research, the Cerberus Shoal (give a listen if you can to their very first official album and farewell to hightide...), the Friends of Dean Martinez... the 35007.

I also like their early period... the one with prazisions, a stable reference, labradford even though they had different sounds back then (still exceptional, though!) but from mi medja naranja onwards they produced a trilogy of wonders...

their latest album fixed::context is even more stripped down, more minimal... they really give the impression of being the embryonic sound of post-rock and similar genres... the essence... truly underrated in my opinion... a cut (or even two) above many other similar bands...
Jethro Tull A Passion Play
Voto:
one of my favorite albums by Jethro Tull (perhaps only after the unmatched Aqualung) is the spontaneous and beautiful review....
