look, I’m not getting paranoid... it’s just my way of thinking... no problem... see? I know I like that record... I try to promote it and, in my small way, I try to make it known... if it starts to become annoying, I’ll ask to put myself in the anonymous reviewers... to become a ghost in the ether... it doesn’t change anything for me... ola

It's not a matter of copyright, is it? Come on, let's admit it.... Anyway, I exclusively enjoy, if possible, introducing that particular record to one more person.... that's my goal (what a dreadful word!) period. As for the style issue, I've never claimed to have one (in fact, I have none in my writing! Absolutely zero), and I see nothing wrong in using phrases from other reviews, expressions from my friends, or anything else to convey the emotions and sounds of that specific record..... my only purpose, I repeat, is to encourage at least one more person to discover the album. Does the end justify the means? (Who said that??) For me, yes..... and all of this without any hint of controversy, eh.... it's just my humble opinion...... for example, I reviewed an album by Labradford.... the review is practically all mine except for one phrase..... (the one about the December night)..... I liked the phrase, I thought it fit well (perhaps in my literary dullness!) and I included it....... that's all..... oh, get the record, get it.... and you do it..... :-) bye....

I would really be curious to know what you think (translated: that you review it! :-)) of an album by the Friends of Dean Martinez... it's called Random Harvest... I would be really curious... I tried to write some of my nonsense but I become biased... in that appearance with Red Ronnie there were only two of them, one on keyboards and one on guitar... I don’t remember anything else... I can’t get that damn album out of my listening habits during that period even if I wanted to... I find it truly fabulous...

Ah, and since you mention Tuxedomoon in the review, I remember them (in my mental fog) as guests on an afternoon episode of the show that that idiot Red Ronnie hosted on Videomusic... they were totally somewhere else, you know? Red Ronnie was so embarrassed asking them questions...

John, in my humble opinion, yours are the best... well, you too, Odradek, don't joke around... and also those you mentioned... (I also like those from Hab)... there are a ton of people who write amazingly on this site...
