I'm Tuscan, Morpheo. I already have tickets for Bologna (and I'm cursing the terrible acoustics of that venue!). I really liked Cult of Luna, and after the new album Somewhere Along the Highway that just came out, I literally adore them. Truly the best rock release for my ears in 2006 and not just that... I sent the review...

Morpheo, what really pisses me off about many noise reviews is that they try to cover up through reviews that might be very nice (considering, however, that not everyone understands them... myself included in some cases) the trendsetting groups (perhaps this happens less with noise than with other magazines, but the attentive and regular readers of this publication have surely noticed!)... Just to give an example, album of the month, the Broken By Soldiers???? And what about the new Tool album?? The latest from Cult of Luna?? 4 stars for a lousy Korn compilation?? (released exclusively because the album sold almost nothing and without any artistic merit...). By now I'm used to it, but these things, when I started to notice them, really saddened me, not a little.

morpheo, as I suspected, even rumore (which I now buy only out of affection for the paper support as such and for a kind of old-fashioned collecting) has succumbed to the logic of the music business (and me, poor fool, who thought at least they wouldn’t do it!)… it’s enough to say that panopticon by isis has been relegated to the past with a tiny review (albeit full of praise and how could it be otherwise??) amid thousands of new-(scum)rock bands.

I quote belfagor considering them one of the best Italian bands.... I haven't heard this latest one yet but In cattività is wonderful.... it shatters everything.... just to read it I have to activate too many neurons.... :-)
