simply phenomenal, riffs, riffs, and more riffs... and then riffs... sound maelstrom...

The ozrci are really gigantic as far as I'm concerned... even if for my ears this isn't their best (in my opinion, strangeitude, jurassic shift, and arborescence are more beautiful). I saw them play for three and a half hours at the beach bum rock festival, doing 7-8 songs!!! Fortunately, let's just say I wasn't entirely myself... live they are much more powerful than on album!

If you have the chance, just to get an overall picture of this great group (de gustibus, obviously), listen to the previous two works... Murderer and Sterling, which highlight the band's total experimentalism... they were something else entirely, and who knows, you might like the old Sterling more (they've been active since '98 but have only released three albums). I agree with Paloz regarding my tendency to get carried away by writing, almost always based on first impressions. Good or bad, I don’t know; for sure, many albums over time get reassessed, as you say... Time will tell...
