A truly splendid album for my ears.....
Septem + Menarka Live @ Swamp Club, Massa 19.10.13
Voto:
I had (half) promised Arma to write the review of the Septem album, but I haven't done it yet (I take the blame), the review is very nice and I imagine the evening was great!
Sergio Leone Per Qualche Dollaro In Più

-Collonello, but have you ever been young?
-Yes, and just as reckless as you, until the day something happened that made my life extremely precious.
-What?
-......Perhaps it’s an indiscreet question.
-No, questions are never indiscreet; answers are sometimes.
Porcupine Tree The Incident
Voto:
I'll go against the tide and maybe I'll be a little biased towards the Porcupine Tree, but in my opinion, this is a great album, at least compared to Fear of a Blank Planet or Deadwing. I wasn't particularly fond of the more metal imprint they had with those works; here (even if partially) the Porcupines I liked have returned. Of course, not to the level of albums like Stupid Dream or, I don’t know, Signify (their two best, in my taste). Aeroshiphon, what you call the Floydian interlude in Time Flies, has always been a hallmark in many of their pieces; why should the Porcupine Tree make hits? I expect something completely different from their music. Flicker is wonderful. P.S.: I've seen them live four or five times (the last one during the Deadwing tour), and they’ve always rocked!
Cloudland Canyon Lie In Light

Kranky has always put out excellent stuff; these are unknown to me, but from your lovely review, I’ll try to track them down, psycho... damn, I clearly vote for Kranky over Tee Pee! But by releasing Labradford, I must admit I'm a bit too biased... greetings to all.

Colour Haze 5 Questions To Stefan Koglek
Voto:
Great interview, Bartle. In my opinion, an incredible band. The way Stefan plays the six-string is truly unique, free form in a sense. For those who love stoner and psychedelia, it's a must-listen... And judging by how he responded to you, he seems really down-to-earth...
Don Caballero Punkgasm
Voto:
I didn't like it very much, I agree with many things in the review even if I don’t feel like trashing them the way you did. But then again, without Williams the Don Caballero shouldn’t even exist anymore (considering that Damon is still a monstrous drummer). Williams formed Battles, and the difference is clear and audible, right? For me, yes! However, I don’t agree with 47 on the comment that considers what never as their compositional peak, seeing as it’s two steps above the other Don Caballero albums.
Terry Gilliam Tideland - Il Mondo Capovolto
Voto:
simply fabulous, gigantic I would dare to say, hallucinatory poetry in images. Gilliam surprises once again. The easy review is truly beautiful, especially because for those who have seen the film, it’s really hard to review a "trip" like this.....
Wes Anderson Il treno per Darjeeling
Voto:
I'm also biased towards Wes. Really great review, Micol. However, I prefer his earlier films (The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou). As for the music, I know that Wes (even the rearrangement of "Hey Jude," for example, is his) collaborates with Mark Mothersbaugh, the former lead singer of Devo. Owen Wilson has been very good friends with Anderson since their college days, and if I remember correctly, he co-wrote both Rushmore and The Tenenbaums.
