I don't know if you've ever read Glue by Irvine Welsh, but if you have, you should know that in my mental fantasies Irvine was inspired by Björk for the character of Katrin Joyner, the anorexic and depressed singer who has a night out with the boys from Korea. I mean, in my opinion, it's just too much like her.

I watched The Simpsons today, and it was an amazing episode where Homer becomes the local hero because he played the perfect bowling game (300 points, all strikes). Of course, he brags like crazy and goes on TV and all that, but after a while, everyone gets fed up with him and he’s no longer the local hero. He decides that his mission is to entertain his kids.
