Great job. The only Underworld album I know is Beaucoup Fish, which I consider a great album. Not so much for the famous tracks, but for certain trips whose titles I can't remember. The last track was a bomb. What do you think?
The Angels Of Light We Are Him

I believe this album is a masterpiece of balance, with biblical references galore. The cover is by a painter from a few decades ago. Every image in the booklet is filled with symbols and references (see the burning church in one of the inner drawings).

@ Festwca: well, I don't know what you mean by "truth in your pocket"... the fact is that everyone who expresses an opinion seems to have the truth in their pocket, unless they reiterate in every line "this is my personal opinion, let's be clear," which would come off as a bit ridiculous. In any case, I too don't quite agree with many of their reviews, especially the recent ones (take, for example, the review of the latest Guapo album "Elixirs," a rare gem for me, like all their other albums, instead panned by Ondarock). What makes the site good in my opinion are the insights into historic bands that are never sufficiently covered by fanzines and webzines, like Magma, Univers Zero, Swans, Lydia Lunch... as for Blow Up, I completely disagree with you: for me, this is the number 1 magazine in Italy (and beyond), which doesn’t care about trends and various indie rockers and delves into the most disparate genres by people who truly know. The idea of exploring prewar folk over twenty issues (100 pages in total, not just half!!!) is wonderful. Not to mention their open-mindedness in approaching original and creative music (which, in my opinion, deserves recognition in 2008) rather than just praising the usual suspects. Not one, but ten steps above various Rumore, Il Mucchio, Rockerilla, etc. etc.

@psycho: I consider Ondarock perhaps the most important Italian site for rock music (especially for its in-depth analysis), aside from certain missteps in reviews they've been facing lately due to new hires :) but Psycho, what do you recommend from recent releases? I suggest "Portal" by Alexander Tucker. I think it's right up your alley.

in what sense are you on Ondarock? Do you write reviews? Because if that's the case, I won't go to Ondarock anymore. I'm sorry, but I believe this review is the result of someone who doesn't really know much about music, and therefore, when faced with something truly original, doesn't know what terms to use. By the way, if you don't know how to describe their music, why did you write a review? It's like saying "I absolutely want to give an opinion: I have no opinion on the matter." Maybe I'm exaggerating... maybe.
Sigur Rós Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust

personal ratings for Sigur Rós's works: Agaetis: 9 (masterpiece, period). (): 8 (Psycho, it's a bit more difficult to tune in here). Takk: 6 (you can start to feel the wave of success just by listening to the album, which for me becomes the example of "fake alternative")... I won't listen to this last album because I already know Takk was not a transitional album, but the beginning of the decline. I preferred them when they were nobody, in short. I think this period is therefore irreversible. By the way, great review. Truly applause.

Are you saying you don't like "Closer"? It can't be just a trend, right? I played it in the car with some friends (who consider themselves alternative) and they begged me to turn it off because they were getting too excited. I mean, he practically is the Sunn O))) of techno.

look, Richie Hawtin is Canadian... far from being English! far from being the father of European techno! anyway, he's not faded at all: his last official work "closer" from 2004 is a masterpiece.
