a nice bomb, I say, and I'm saying this as someone who doesn't understand shit about rap, someone who appreciates Dalek's beats and not the flow, someone who says "clouddead, those really shoot me into orbit," someone who values sixtoo and prefuse 73 precisely because the flow is hidden beneath layers and layers of attention to production, or even doesn't exist at all. kosmo, the album was well promoted at the time, in magazines and online. the track with trent reznor (flyentology) doesn't blow me away anyway, nor does that other one where he starts doing "emo," the title of which I can't remember.

Thank you!!! You're amazing, both for your availability and your taste in music. I only have Black Ships Ate the Sky by C93 and Part 2 Endless Not by Throbbing Gristle. I've fallen in love with both, so I realized that this genre (the term 'genre' feels a bit limiting) needs to be explored thoroughly. Yesterday I got Hell Is Invisible... by Psychic TV, and it seems very different, certainly more rock. The first listen threw me off (in a negative way), partly due to certain choruses... but then I understood everything — there's a broader plan that's less predictable than it seems. It's growing on me now.

I haven't read the review, but as soon as I saw the title of the film, I rushed here. Because this animated movie is AMAZING. A remedy against all the fast and clumsy cinema. A sweet snowflake that gently settles on the road without making a sound. The film is full of nothing less than brilliant ideas, but subtly so (after all, it’s French), like the wrapping paper for newspapers, the fridge that opens, and the bicycle of the three ladies. And the dog that always barks when the train passes by because when he was little, an electric train ran over his tail? A sophisticated, adult cartoon. If you get bored in front of this masterpiece, it means that your life has inevitably conformed to ketchup soup and neon bombardments.

mementomori, could you please make me a short list of must-have albums from Current 93, Coil, Death in June, and Psychic TV? Damn, I tried to search in my trusted specialized store but they are practically all unavailable.

I heard the album in full at the store. Well, if I would have given their first albums a 2, this one deserves a straight 1. This fake rock that fills arenas and makes teenagers nod their heads... it's time for it to be erased from the music world.

I personally know the guitarist, a clerk at my trusted shop here in Verona. It's very strange because he's a fan of Neurosis, Jesu, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Tarentel, and a bit of everything heavy post-rock ambient. Then one day, he comes out with the Canadians, and he has a blast playing with them! But why didn't God give me his mental flexibility?

Listen, I'm starting to love these Current 93 a bit. Actually, I only have the latest, "Black Ships Ate the Sky," in which, I swear, I've really lost myself. "Idumea" sung by all those people, in so many different ways, all timeless nonetheless. What do you recommend that comes very close to this? Ah, I know that Tibet releases 1 official album for every 10 albums he puts out. I'm more interested in the latter. What do you think? "Soft Black Stars"? "Sleep Has His House"? Which one is the most similar to "Black Ships" (and obviously available)? You're a true lover of the gothic, aren't you? Do you like "Black Tape for a Blue Girl"?

Psycho, I’ll repeat that I also thought the second one was crap as soon as I heard it. Now I give it 5 stars, but full 5, not 4.75. I bought the latest Animal Collective album. It disappointed me a bit. They have now settled into that quirky pop sound, like “Feels.” I love “Spirit They’ve Gone” and “Sung Tongs.” I’m also looking forward to the new Akron/Family. Oh, the new Angels of Light is very beautiful. And one of my new discoveries is David Tibet. You'll tell me I’ve discovered hot water. Well, yes. In fact, “Black Ships Ate the Sky” by Current 93 is beautiful to me.
