Dark Sanctuary De Lumière et d'Obscurité

great mementomori, they faithfully reflect the dark side of my favorite music. in fact, dark sanctuary has always intrigued me but I don't know them. they're not available in stores, and online, given my recent experiences (ordered 4 CDs that never arrived), I don’t order anything anymore. I repeat that you absolutely must listen to black tape for a blue girl, a project by Sam Rosenthal. there are 2 reviews about it on debaser (one of which is mine) and an interesting biography on ondarock.it.

Look, I don’t know the album, but the review gave me chills: "With these words, this album begins. Tired, confused, drunken words that can't hide it, accompanied by a crooked march played with a few instruments. The song drags on wearily, entwining itself, losing bits, prematurely fading, ultimately revealing its own inescapable essence. In the background remains the breathless, broken breathing of someone who has listened and witnessed a two-minute drama unfurl. An actress who doesn’t know how to act, a singer who no longer wants to sing." For me, a person who writes like this has every right to write books. How do you convey the idea... A "black diamond"... what other such simple and meaningful metaphor could better express the idea?

great film. a dreamlike experience, from dream to nightmare and vice versa. a serious fact greater than what the young boy can bear. the long shower scenes with the increasingly loud jet of water (water that purifies) and the final scene of him burning the letters in the fire in close-up (fire that purifies) are anthological. in my cinema there were about 50 people (Verona). a record for that cinema which, despite being the only one showing films of a certain depth in my city (a medium-large city, by the way), remains very underattended. cursed ignorance.
Six Organs Of Admittance Shelter From The Ash

here's the review I was waiting for from the person I had in mind. this is the only album I know by six organs, actually. I heard it's more about songwriting than the others, and even though I'm into the trips, I found it to be a great album. the pathos generated by alone with the alone, final wing, and coming to get you, with that electricity in the background that never explodes, but also the more straightforward tracks like strangled road and jade like wine, which feels like it's sung by Ben in a Canadian coniferous forest, surrounded by ten girls with branches twisted in their hair, around a big fire. the one I like the least is the title track, too post-rock for my taste. I ordered the sun awakens almost a month ago on e-bay (along with the new one by SIGHTINGS) and it hasn't arrived yet, damn it. I bet it's a real gem. but you psycho, do you prefer Chasny of comets on fire or this?

Psycho, when is the review of the new Six Organs of Admittance coming out?

AMAZING film that exalts visionary creativity in the boring everyday life. It goes without saying that if you don't identify with the two protagonists, the film is bound to be boring. A bit like The Science of Sleep by Michel Gondry.
Subsonica L'Eclissi
Voto:
holy words Stoney, holy words. I would also add that the Subsonica don't pay attention to trends in the same way that Madonna or all the others do, who are sincere in their target. The Subsonica, on the other hand, pass themselves off as alternative, and that's the most annoying thing. Their listeners believe they are listening to music like true cool kids against the system. but go take a hike

very beautiful, especially the distant and highly filtered soul voices. the only flaw is what had made the debut album a masterpiece: the beats. while in the debut they were crooked, abyssal, violent, and rusty... here I found them a bit flatter. for this reason, the self-titled debut remains unmatched for me.

S-T-U-P-E-N-D-O. Recently I also saw Angel, his latest film. Beautiful but not on par with this masterpiece. French cinema, on the other hand, is excellent. Not to mention French animation... The Triplets of Belleville is stunning.
