The first would be "everybody else is doing it so why can't we"...yes, it's not bad, but this is stylistically superior...at least in my opinion...the cranberries now are too...how should I put it...ordinary...commercial...they used to have a more distinctive sound.

Ah, I should have responded to Sallu's first comment... well... objectively, I don't know if it's prettier in utero, but it's definitely the album that most reflects the true style of Nirvana... basically, with In Utero, they returned to the pre-Nevermind sound, but compared to Bleach, they have technically improved a lot... thanks in good part to Dave... anyway, honestly, I like it more than Nevermind...

Hey Ciaglia... I know that Evanescence can't even be remotely compared to Nirvana, but the album isn't bad! Sorry if I can't respond to all the comments, but I'm in Pisa and I have to wait for the new PC! Forgive me if I didn't write a perfect review like Nevermind deserved, but it was my first one!! I want to make just one criticism regarding this review: to me, seeing "il salvabile da in utero" is blasphemy... it's perhaps the most beautiful Nirvana CD, it expresses their true sound, unlike Nevermind, and it's the peak of their artistic maturity, as shown by some tracks like Heart-Shaped Box... however, the rest of the review is good. They’ve gone overboard charging 20 euros for a song!
