Afterhours Ballate Per Piccole Iene
Voto:
I was thinking about a fall for Manuel Agnelli&co, but this album is the greatest of their career, featuring exceptional quality tracks, especially in the slower pieces, with CARNE FRESCA standing out. Yet, by the end of the 44 minutes of this album, my mood is far too melancholic. An album perhaps too dark, but definitely a great work.
Travis Good Feeling
Voto:
The Travis are one of my favorite bands, but this debut album isn’t great; I only like it because it’s spontaneous. From Travis, I love 12memories and The Man Who.
Negramaro Mentre Tutto Scorre
Voto:
In my opinion, Negramaro's debut "00577" was sensational. This follow-up gives me the feeling that the band was in too much of a rush to release the album right after Sanremo, resulting in an excellent, indeed extraordinary work for the first three tracks: NELLA MIA STANZA, MENTRE TUTTO SCORRE, and SOLO3MIN. For the rest, it's an average album, with L'ESTATE towards the middle leaving a significant mark. L'IMMENSITA' is a cover of DON BACKY and not of MINA. Anyway, you did well to highlight this group, which, in my opinion, has potential that has not yet been fully expressed. However, don’t exaggerate with triumphalist judgments on this album; it is just above average.
Vasco Rossi Buoni o Cattivi
Voto:
For many, this is pure poetry; for me, it's crap. Vasco was a good singer-songwriter, but now he’s a puppet manipulated at will by those who use him just to make money. I don't hate Vasco; I hate the vascomani who have their ears plugged.
Moltheni Splendore terrore
Voto:
I continue to believe in Moltheni and it's a shame to see that his albums and concerts never attract the attention they deserve. FIDUCIA NEL NULLA MIGLIORE was absolutely a great rock album, full of energy, while this SPLENDORETERRORE has a dreamy atmosphere that envelops it; it’s beautiful and captivating even though I would have removed a couple of instrumental tracks and added a few more sung pieces. Nevertheless, NEL POTERE DEL LEGNO, FIORI DI CARNE, and SUPREMA are beautiful songs. It was about time that the name of this great Italian songwriter appeared on Debaser.
Feeder Pushing The Senses
Voto:
I have no doubt that the dead feeder was the drummer; it's just that I read in the magazine that this Jon Lee was originally a bassist. If there’s anyone here who knows more than the Wild Bunch, then hats off.

I admit the mistake regarding the artist's name, which is Iacampo and not Lacampo (spelling error), while concerning the album's drawings, they are indeed by Iacampo, so I was wrong there. It's the title of the album that is not his idea; in fact, Hamletmachine is a play by a German artist that revisits Shakespeare's Hamlet in a modern and visionary way.
Francesco De Gregori Amore Nel Pomeriggio
Voto:
In my opinion, De Gregori as a songwriter has already given his best; his finest work remains BUFALO BILL, which features ATLANTIDE. The most beautiful songs from this last album are CANZONE PER L'ESTATE and IL CUOCO DI SALO', which, by the way, were not conceived by De Gregori but by De Andrè and Battiato. I believe that an artist who only releases best of compilations, live albums, and various collections has at least a drop in inspiration.

I don't feel like putting in any samples, and anyway this album is nice to listen to in its entirety. The cover is not by the author, it's by a German artist. It doesn't remind me of Sparklehorse at all, but many people think so.

But what music do you listen to, dear vanilla? Well, I've never heard of them. I imagined you were more down-to-earth.
