And yet you must admit that the gogogo airheart are not exactly Avril Lavigne noise.. I was discussing the intentions with which you publish these reviews: it doesn’t seem to me that you want to limit yourself to judging these records, but rather that, with a touch of ego-centrism (every reviewer is a bit ego-centric, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t be), you are using them to praise yourself, or perhaps you hope that others will ignite a bonfire around you in the hope of sparking discussions that highlight you, or that allow you, in a certain sense, to keep writing for this site as a kind of self-defense.. it's just an impression..

And in any case, I review Logh, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Hidea, Lecrevisse... my tastes are a different matter... do you think I've reviewed anything by Tool? The only hymns I've dedicated to my favorite bands were provocative rants, to the same extent as your review is...

First of all, I want to commend you for the nonchalance with which you compliment yourself, and I’ll summarize in two words the concept I tried to convey to you and which you misinterpreted, keeping in mind that my mood is not your concern: records are not reviewed just because they are known by many and therefore contestable by many. De-baser is interesting, innovative, and culturally useful not because of sterile exchanges of views that, besides remaining unchanged, often lead to embarrassing discussions, but because it allows users in general to enrich their knowledge in the musical field. I believe, and don't take it too personally if I criticize my moderation because I don't think it benefits either of us... regards.

I do not agree with the positive impression with which your review was received. First of all, let me start by saying that I would like to engage in an interesting discussion that is hopefully not vulgar regarding this matter because I care about it. I would like to ask you why you think you need to bring to this site, which I believe is primarily a research system and a showcase for the dissemination of unconventional music that would not have other means of reaching potential interested listeners (at least this is the conception of its essential functions that I have made of the site, as evidenced by the comments on my reviews like "but who are these, your cousins?") a review like this..? I just wouldn’t want you to send reviews to be published as a display of pride, perhaps in response to criticisms that I think you have received justly (and I invite you to moderation) to demonstrate that courage for which you are praised.. I had already heard of Avril Lavigne, sadly, and I had formed a biased idea about her artistic and creative talents, her questionable musical taste, and her image, which I find not at all dissimilar from those of many constructed pop stars.. that idea resurfaced after I downloaded the CD and listened to a part of each track that quickly made me change the song.. for me, it makes no sense for you to continue publishing similar reviews; they are pointless and I find them decidedly out of place.. I don’t think a rating could further validate my criticism, so I’ll spare you that; I await your response..

I have to say that your brit pop is somewhat limiting, almost an insult... the oasis have never produced anything like just wept... they are elegant.
