Do you think the album title could have been a kind of message, a dedication that anticipated his suicide?

A perfect circle are not Tool, it was almost impossible not to lower the bar. I'm just saying that in my opinion it doesn't make much sense to throw shade at those few bands that manage to create good music and let us hear it. Does everything have to be researched, sophisticated, and innovative in order to be appreciated? We should try to be a bit more flexible and less snobbish; it seems there’s a kind of taste in tearing down significant bands or hitting them with heavy criticism (see The Wall)... I hope it’s not a somewhat ridiculous attitude...

(If the exits were due..) Tom Morello isn't bad as a guitarist..

First of all, I liked the last two CDs by A Perfect Circle as well. It seems to me that I heard the release of Emotive and Amotion was due to the band's desire to part ways with Virgin: they had a contract for 2 CDs to release after 13th Step. It may be a questionable choice, but I don't think it's right to destroy an artist who has created his masterpieces, don't you think?

Oh, sorry for interrupting, but I had a discussion about this not long ago. My friend and I were wondering how many high-caliber female electric guitarists there have been: I couldn't think of even one with a personality and style that could be compared to a Page or a Gilmour, and I immediately hypothesized that such a lack stemmed from some sort of gender defect (cue the hits!). She wasn't even able to find a prominent figure in the female "electric" scene and said that, in her opinion, it was a limitation of the cultural structure of society, basically: MAN: "if you're a woman, we won't let you play, and anyway, you won't become much of anything." WOMAN: "you won't let me play, I'll never become much of anything." .. I don't know..
