Van Der Graaf Generator Pawn Hearts
Voto:
I don't agree with their unpopularity; in fact, they had a considerable following in Italy... anyway, to all the fans of the group from Pawn Hearts and H to He... I highly recommend their latest album, the return after almost thirty years with the original lineup. Acc... has anyone heard the double "Present"? Far from being old, senile pensioners, these lions still know how to deliver, that's for sure... five-star instrumental technique, a remarkable sense of experimentation; it feels like experiencing the Mahavishnu Orchestra in their golden days... definitely one of the most interesting albums of this year.

Iommi is a monster, a genius. I don't know what I would do to interview him.

"My name's Elizabeth. My life is piss and shit" (cf. from an old record of theirs) ... makes you want to touch yourself...

Anyway, it’s been years since I listened to such a perfect album. I believe it has the makings of a classic.

Sublime record... a true masterpiece... but I would say that Mr. E is a bit less suicidal than usual, good for him... as for the review, please stay calm, don't let yourselves be influenced by these artists if they aren't really the happiest people in the world.
Afterhours Ballate Per Piccole Iene

Congratulations on your open-mindedness as we've already seen and read... I don't think you would have left an Iggy Pop concert disgusted for the same reasons - the Stooges were a force of nature... anyhow, I'm starting to like the album a lot, I'm re-evaluating it... we're talking about music here, for goodness' sake, anyway, I don't know what to do with your hatred, usually, people like that just have issues with themselves.
Bon Jovi Keep The Faith
Voto:
Bon Jovi is a typical wasted talent... perhaps he will be remembered artistically only for "wanted dead or alive" which was - who knows why - a good roots song.

But where is this return to the aggressive rock of the golden days that journalists speak of? It’s rather lysergic, if anything. And anyway, give me back the "ti entravo dentro in fondo lo sai soltanto per capire chi sei" of ancient memory... To Puntini@Puntini, who criticizes so much, I would just like to reiterate that Germi is considered a landmark, a milestone of Italian rock music of all time, so at the very least, you're poorly informed.

I’ll start by saying that I’m only listening to it now, so I’ll hold off on making a judgment for the time being. I find there are excellent pieces like "la vedova bianca" and "carne fresca," Agnelli's voice has dangerously shifted to the center of the seventies, a bit like Mussida (I share the similarities with certain PFM) and the whole thing is quite unsettling. "la sottile linea bianca" brings to mind Le Orme and there are bits here and there that vaguely recall Alan Sorrenti... it will be a matter of time because the sounds are nonetheless exceptional, but I still haven't quite figured out if this is the new album by Afterhours... they seem so... distant.
Slayer Reign In Blood

I like to say what I think. But if we want to talk only about music, then let's simply say that Reign in Blood is the greatest extreme rock album ever made, okay?
