The Gun CLub Miami
Voto:
I recently bought it at a bargain price (I only owned "Las Vegas Story" and on vinyl, by the way) and I haven't listened to anything else for days... Lee Pierce's voice is something memorable... I wonder why there are no more bands like this, or maybe it's just me getting old. Great album, who knows how many nights Jon Spencer has spent listening to it.
Van Halen Diver Down

It’s certainly not a great album (and it’s not even a proper album but rather a kind of divertissement), but when I hear songs like "oh pretty woman" are absolutely useless and suited for easy listening, then I understand how some individuals in rock music will never understand a damn thing…

Madonna Ray Of Light

But how can one say that this album is bad? I'm certainly not a big Madonna fan, but this album has something different; it's intense, and several tracks are of great intensity. I disagree that the later production is insignificant; for me, even Madonna deserves to be in a nightclub, especially if she makes records like this... she deserves more respect today than when she first started... the support from Orbit is remarkable... of course, if I have to listen to a singer who gives me emotions, I’d choose Nina Simone or Nico, but this album is truly splendid.

Twisted Sister Stay Hungry

The album is lovely, nothing more to say... I recently bought it again on CD and it’s still a fun and tough album... to the detractors, I would suggest looking beyond the makeup and visual excesses of Dee Snider and the others and listening to a track like "don't let me down," truly splendid.

John Zorn is a genius among the few on this planet of lost souls.
Guns And Roses Use Your Illusion 1&2

Oh my God, what a fool... aside from the fact that November Rain has an arrangement that might make you shit yourself, but it's superb, it's perfectly pointless for me to add that songs like "coma" or "civil war" are not exactly stuff for jokers like you think, and like the many idiots who agree with you believe... it's not that I'm crazy about the Guns, but there are great things on the two double albums... The song dedicated to Johnny Thunders is a wonder.

Listen to the Christmas box set ("songs for christmas"), it's 5 CDs and costs little (less than 30 euros) and needless to say, it’s wonderful... is it just a coincidence that one of the most beautiful albums of 2006 is a collection of EPs of Christmas songs? Yet it is so.
