I wonder, reading these negative reviews (it's a bit like facing those who vote for the same old parties), if you even listened to the album. The review is an abyssal piece of crap from the usual prejudiced critic who only enjoys tearing things apart if someone messes with their stereo... I don't even consider you, look... the album might not be Master of Puppets, but it's a breath of fresh air compared to the last works, and some tracks ("The Day That Never Comes" above all) are true masterpieces. It falters, in my opinion, with excessive virtuosity and for some strange reason fails to become a masterpiece, but to call a song like "My Apocalypse" crap is truly the height... after all, critics don't think the same way, unlike that scandalous rock that was St. Anger...

You don't have to be a metalhead to appreciate a fundamental album like this one... it's no coincidence that Blow Up has included it among the 500 greatest albums of all time.

It's not worth a dime compared to Tokyo Tapes, but we have to acknowledge that in the eighties and for the eighties, the era of music videos and metal ballads, it can work. But remember that Scorpions without Jon-Roth are like Black Sabbath without Iommi, or U2 without The Edge.

On today's Ferretti, however, it's better to cast a pitying veil: he has conformed to populism and perhaps (damnation) he's even right.

I see that one can die from idiocy, especially if one has no other parameters than the antideological barricades (much better the good old days of the Duce, right?) for an album like this which is, whether you like it or not, one of the greatest Italian albums of all time 10 10 10 10 10 10 I don’t know any rating that can match it differently... as for ideology, it is well known that the pro-Soviet punk-rock of the CCCP loved to desacralize the aesthetic and hagiographic function of ideology, so this album has little to do with the communist-Stalinist ideology that some idiots see in it... sure, we’re doing great now, getting screwed (and willingly) by Tronchetti Provera and company while they bleed us dry every day, and we never know what and how (owner of 8 percent of Telecom, go find out)... I won’t add anything else, otherwise I’ll get arrested.

I still really like them, a lot. And I believe this is their best album in recent years. Let's face it, they have a style that few can achieve... some things remind me of Stereo Total, is that possible?

Splendid album. It takes courage to introduce it with an abrasive and hallucinatory track like "get it on", you can almost hear Royal Trux, I swear... the sound is formidable, and the production is extraordinary. One day, perhaps, we will all understand that this is one of his best works. Great review.

Giving a "3" and expressing conservative reservations about an album that has remained iconic is absurd... it's clear that if I want to go hard, I choose "kill'em all," a magnificent debut, but like it or not, the black album is the masterpiece of maturity. After that, there was almost nothing.
