I apologize for interrupting the debate.. however, I would like to emphasize that you Iko, whom I sincerely admire for your writing style and musical wisdom, often come across as a bit too presumptuous in your interventions. It’s clear that if observations are made in a certain way, they can be accepted, but when they are too bitter and verge on insulting the work of others, someone might take offense.. all of this is, of course, IMHO. Furthermore, as I already mentioned to Francis, insults are not justified because we must always remember that we are getting to know each other virtually, so I wouldn’t throw judgments at anyone. I think a little more tolerance and moderation from everyone would be helpful.

Before the arrival of the aforementioned Fergie, the BEP were making good hip hop. I heard a bit of their production, and it was enough for me to understand that they sold their asses to the record label, which imposed the female vocalist on them (as we know, she always brings in the bucks), the crazy outfits, and the songs that have the quality of a ringtone.

The review doesn't say much about the album; it could have been better. I hadn't been too impressed with Lenny lately, but I won't comment on this CD as I don't have it. Generally, L.K. offers a pop-rock product that is well above average. We'll see... Cheers!

The review is truthful and I don't see why Devon's choice to write about the Black Eyed Peas should be criticized. After all, it's only fair to let everyone know that we're talking about cheap music (which, of course, earned the lucky BEP many more than they spent making it), good only for dance lessons, just in case someone feels half inclined to buy this album. However, the review seems a bit rushed, but it still gets the idea across well. Cheers!

You're right, I generalised a bit too much, but I have the impression that there are more than a few who deny their brit-pop past as if it were a stigma.. maybe I'm wrong and in fact I ended up writing "and now lynch me." In the end, I consider myself quite ignorant in terms of music, I like de-baser because there are cool people who know a lot from whom I can learn a ton of things. Cheers!

Look Francis, the only piece of advice I can give you is not to resort to insults even though the temptation is strong. I believe that, in the end, we only know each other in a virtual way, and it's not the case to pass judgment on people we don't know. That said, I understand the annoyance of feeling unjustly provoked and seeing your work or your love for a group or a genre heavily criticized by so-called professors who come off as both arrogant and pretentious. Congratulations again on the review, which I vote for again.

Francis M-I-T-I-C-O! The review is amazing and don’t listen to the nonsense from others, I know David and you wrote everything that needed to be written, then if there are people who can’t read or interpret that’s their problem, if I could I’d give you a 10 but I feel compelled to limit myself to a 5 with honors. Cheers!
