Super Furry Animals Hey Venus!

A shareable review aside, seeing the name Simply Red associated with SFA gave me chills. The album lacks particularly high points and compensates with good average quality from start to finish. Certainly not the best of SFA, but enjoyable.
The Coral Roots & Echoes
Voto:
Right. However, they always give the impression that they could do more, like those students who could get an eight but settle for a 6.5. When will the Corals dare to take a risk? Time is passing, and they’re not kids anymore?
Morrissey Your Arsenal

dear blixawhatever if you read all my reviews you will understand that I haven’t copied anything at all, if anything it will be this worldofmorrissey that has copied mine.

more than anything, this is a much denser work than that of the animals, and therefore it works better as an album, as a whole that is more than the sum of its parts. have you heard the new one from animal collective? I’ve heard a bit of it and it seems like a disappointment to me, but I’ve really only heard a little.
Hood The Cycle of Days and Seasons

Anyway, the hood guys are really good and also quite underrated and little known, so it's good to talk about them.
Interpol Our Love To Admire

Given that I haven't heard it: what's wrong with making sunny music? It seems to me to be much more coherent than: we're in New York, we're getting a ton of action but we pretend to be sad to make our fans happy.
Roberto Benigni La Vita E' Bella
Voto:
A film I have always hated since the first and only time I saw it. I have never understood those who say that the message is something else, that it is poetry, that love triumphs over everything, etc. I’m fine with love triumphing, but why set it in a concentration camp if not for an act of immense arrogance? To make Cerami say, “Look how good I am? I can turn a concentration camp into poetry too!” And no, damn it, you can't because that's not a concentration camp; it's a ridiculous parody, a cardboard backdrop placed there so that Benigni and Cerami can emerge triumphant.
The Clash From Here To Eternity: Live

ah ah guns of brixton ugly! then those who called them a plagiarism of the Ramones don't know what they're talking about. spanish bombs, london calling, guns of brixton indeed, lost in the supermarket, somebody got murdered, white man in hammersmith palais and so many others, how do they relate to the Ramones?
