I completely agree with what grantnicholas said. In fact, this is better than Demon Days; it feels more like an album and less like a collection of highs and lows. Then, in this desolate 2010, with good old pop done right, it's truly a breath of fresh air.

this album is beautiful like all those by bark psychosis, including codename dustsucker. I don't know why they are ignored, independency is even out of print. it should at least be in deluxe edition. it's true that art doesn't pay.

Yes, but I don't understand why this group is showered with incredible praise while the mogwai are always nitpicked. Honestly, it seems to me that the mogwai have much more inventiveness, creativity, and talent than these. The problem is, as usual, that the mogwai are pop in their own way, and then people turn up their noses; whereas if you make half-hour-long songs, you’re automatically considered an experimenter, someone "refined."

Yes, but what a pain with this use of the word "buonista." The film is a comedy, so it has more good than bad and ends well. For once in his life, Ken Loach wanted to make a comedy. I thank him because the state of cinema is such that finding an intelligent film with good actors is a feat. So thank you, Ken, and I give it five stars even if it "only" deserves four. I understand that you liked the film, but the word "buonista" seems out of place to me.

I agree that Jason's best albums are different, I would also include Lazer Guided Melodies along with Ladies... but I don't agree with all this negative commentary; it's a good album even if it's not exceptional.
