I don't like the Teardrop Explodes and I don't have a good relationship with Cope either; he has many tonal drops. This album has nice moments, but also things that, in my opinion, are flat. Among highs and lows, it barely scratches a passing grade.

Reading like @[macaco], I thought of the EX, but when I heard the track, I thought, "They would have wanted to sound like 'The Ex'."
