I would definitely have spared myself the personal final considerations. It’s work to explore calmly at my well-spent time; my only note is that in the recording, I think the sounds are too uniform, losing the nuances that, in my opinion, should stand apart from the drone magma to make the listening experience less tiring.

I don't consider the first Pink Floyd as a "Journey"; I believe that all the talk about the acid taken by Barrett is mostly folklore. I think it's very "down-to-earth." Very connected to reality, seen with "different" eyes, but always well grounded.

Surely a nice tailspin compared to the continuous disappointments of the last albums, now followed only by terminal fans. Unlike the others, I felt this one, and I must say that our man does the usual "One step forward and two steps back," he has distanced himself from the last boring productions, adds fuel to the fire but in the end the result is, in my opinion, an uninspired return to 20 years ago. A nice tailspin, without a hint of novelty. Perhaps it was too much to ask the good Douglas P. for a new outfit for his creation, and one could say that, in the end, it’s fine this way. A solid passing grade, which few would have expected by now.

I think the first two were more undisciplined compared to their latest works. I remember many great things, good intentions that, in my opinion, got a bit lost over the long distance of an LP. To put it simply, I don't remember a song that represents them. Anyway, a great band.
