In complete antithesis to the Foolish Mountain Man (but he knows it...) and fully in agreement with you and the old @[Farnaby]... indeed, with the dark and metallic sounds of this album, at times it feels like we're back to the glory days of Violator... of course, the air must have been influenced by Fletch's departure, even though the tracks had already been written a long time ago. Dark humor and themes of death have always inspired Gore, and Gahan doesn't hesitate to follow suit. Great album, much needed, after the mediocre performances from 2005 to today...

Good little disc, but the comparison with the first of the original Propaganda becomes increasingly harsh. I don't think I can find a track worthy of appearing on A Secret Wish, I don't know...
If you get a chance, listen to "The heart is strange" by XPropaganda, a record from a few years ago that revisits Brucken and Sonntag as a duo, really very on point, without sticky nostalgia but fully in the good 80s, not the Cecchetto kind, okay?
