Well done Jon, you chose a band of excellent quality. Blameless comment.

I haven't seen Zappa live, but they have.

I would hit you with Mars and Lion bars for snubbing Paint Box. Or with Giotto. Anyway, in my memory, as an anthology, Masters of Rock was better. For the reasons you mention, for the ridiculous "A Day in the Life" by the Pink, which is It Would Be So Nice, Chapter 24, and Paintbox (the inevitable hit: Last night I drank too much/sitting in the club with so many idiots/...the desire to impress/great sense of emptiness). Syd's mother's trusted greengrocer preferred Apples and Oranges. The baker's daughter liked Candy and a Currant Bun. Too bad the anthologies in question do not give space to the Gnome Crimble Cromble, after all he didn’t ask for much, and the gnomes only wanted "Another way for gnomes to say hooray." The Scarecrow of Oz brings everyone together because now he is resigned to his sad fate; life is not rude, and anyway, he doesn't care. In Chapter 24, a movement takes place in six stages, and the seventh brings the return; seven is the number of young light, it forms if the darkness increases by one. Better to stop here, noble samurai (don't) tell me more. Wondering and dreaming the words have different meanings yes they did...

Very interesting.

Congratulations Jon, a fantastic article. Your zoom-ins while narrating the album and the scene are wonderful. Australia is a breeding ground for talent...

The cover shown here is wrong!

The interlude of Dogs is unmistakable. You're right about breaking free from the "Wall." Let's look at the album... Amused doesn't appeal to me, Radio Kaos, yes, The Pros and Cons, just barely sufficient. Personally, of the three leaders of Pink, he's the one who has given the most, even while adoring Barrett...

Very nice review. Are we at the "Maturita' Sonica"?

Beautiful review, no frills. And full of inspired irony. I would say also fueled by the album. An album that I rate 4.5 stars. It's my favorite, perhaps overall, from our national Lucione.

This is beautiful! Well done, Pogoman! Great cover and great review, two excellent presentations. I'm going to listen to them right away.
