I have to say it’s one of the albums I like the least... not that there aren't great songs, those in a De André album never lack, but, how can I put it, in my humble opinion he and Bubola don’t always find the right balance, starting from details like Fabrizio's voice (magical, but here not always so magical)... I recommend listening to Bubola’s live performances, there are songs that he does much better (Durango, Rimini, Franziska – even though Franziska comes from the next album)... some tracks, in my opinion, are rather verbose and very similar to the less inspired moments of "L'impiegato" and "Volume 8"... then again, of course, we’re always talking about a great artist... "La buona novella" and "Creuza de ma" are still my favorite albums...
