To be honest, as much as I own the vinyl (bought back then) and as much as I saw it live (also back then), I fondly remember only "Non è nel cuore"... I believe the musicians involved in the album have done much better work elsewhere, and the lyrics are almost just a summary of the ideas that were trending at the time, resulting in a certain trivialization... Of course, there was the music... and there was the idea, absolutely new in Italy, of rock songwriting... and also the undeniable charm and freshness of the character... and yes, live he was captivating... Anyway, it had been a long time since I last listened to it, and I found it aged really poorly... better some later songs, like "Le ragazze di Osaka"... after all, being forced to keep up with the times, even if you are sincere (and he was), is always a risk, and nine times out of ten, time makes what once seemed good and right (in any era) seem (almost) ridiculous...
