...I've already said my piece on the other side.

An attempt that didn't quite succeed in rekindling the glory of the "El diablo-Spirito" period, and once the cake is cut, it results in a work that lacks soul and feels a bit stale. All in all, it's quite listenable.

There would be much to tell beyond doping and betting. Decades of suspicions and recriminations: from Rivera about the scudetti lost by Milan in the early '70s. The numerous ones lost by Roma to the advantage of Juve after the famous disallowed goal by Turone (end of the 1980/81 season), the scudetto 1987/88, made to slip from Napoli (betting/'ndrangheta) which, as if by magic, in the last 5 matchdays collapses 4 times and draws once. Then there’s Moggi's Juve which stirred up dust with Parma and Inter in the '90s. The 2 Roman scudetti of the "Giubileo."

I am a fan of Nilla Pizzi and this is not a great record. It's a work of art.

Welcome to DeBascatraz. A great debut for you and a positive confirmation for Giorgio Elisabetto Canali & co.

Don't talk to me about it, especially when later on the 74s came out, I already had a hefty collection of 46-60 and 90, along with other original stuff. I've now recycled the 46s by joining tapes together with layers of Scotch tape, to make more cassettes for my car, until around 2184 when I’ll change my ride and switch to vinyl. That brown Mercedes, though, must be a terrible sight. A guy I knew about fifteen years ago had an '81 Kadett in the same color. Frightening. Great album, though too many live tracks.

The Premiata Forneria Marconi also rejuvenated De André brilliantly during that time, leaving behind a masterpiece double album. In my opinion, "Capolinea" should be regarded for what it is: an attempt (in my view a successful one) to dress in new styles, arrangements, and enrichments, without substantial upheavals, the pieces already handed down in the history of Italian prog. 3.5 with honors.

I may not have understood a damn thing, but last year Hereafter really disappointed me. I hope Clint has raised the enthusiasm a bit. I'll check back in a while.

From the heart, it’s clear that a certain passion for this artist shines through. Then, all my respect for the spouse, but the "Neapolitan Janis Joplin" just doesn’t seem right to me. With the exception of 2 or 3 acceptable songs (including the one with Pietra), the album doesn’t meet the passing grade for me.
