You forget the very delicate "Rubber Ball" and "Gran sasso," one of my favorites, which brings back that strong connection with nature. What a great little disc, one of the best productions by Ivan from the '80s. After this, he will start to fade away for a few years.

It's the eternal conflict between those who fight for ideas (right or wrong) and those who are compelled by obligation to preserve the image of the State. One couldn't fault Pasolini, when defending the Law Enforcement with his famous letter from "Il PCI ai giovani," denouncing that the true bourgeoisie in that case were the "fake" revolutionary university students, trust fund kids, although that's another story. '77 was the peak of fear rather than protest. The patterns had broken down. The fear was mutual, both the State's and the proletariat's. Only the State knows how to shield itself with Police and Carabinieri, while the common people shield themselves with each other. More than 30 years later, nothing changes: see G8 Genoa, see the landfills in Naples, see Val di Susa. The factors change, but the result is always the same: the war among the "poor." Among the poor and their fears, their insecurities, and their inexperience, placing both fronts in a position to err, blinded by opposing yet equally justifiable reasons, right and duty. And those at the top are having a good laugh.

Is this it? Il Pallometro

I believe we should ask the inventor of the pallometro. We are not all experts on the subject yet.

Still bickering here? I'm off for a couple of hours to RAITRE to watch "Profumo di donna" with Vittorio Gasmann, and it feels like the intifada. I might as well go measure my balls at this point.

What a mess! For a review? If you give me 9 hours, I’ll make it to Naples too with popcorn and beers.

In the meantime, I'll kick things off: 2 carabinieri have to patrol a mountain village, the road starts uphill near the barracks, and when the Carabiniere in the driver's seat starts backing up, the Captain stops the vehicle asking the driver: “Why are you going in reverse?” The driver replies: “Well, there’s the Sanctuary festival, the road is very narrow and being full of cars there’s never any room to turn the car around, so we’re already ready to head down.” After a couple of hours, the two return again in reverse and the Captain, a bit annoyed, addresses the driver once more: “And now why are you in reverse again?” “We got confused, Commander; the festival starts tomorrow, there were few people, and we managed to turn the car around.”

And now we await JURIX with a new episode of "La sai l'ultima"

2 just because she has a voice that could do great things, but as @SOTANATH said a little while ago, she also becomes part of the "sideral void that Italians fill."

Why bring up Zappa, bless his soul? Both are magnificent productions.
